We are looking forward to the holiday season here at the Batesville Memorial Public Library with events and new holiday books! In mid-December we will offer a special program featuring holidays and holiday traditions from various cultures. More information on this special event will be available soon.
We have received several new books, both fiction and non-fiction, with a holiday theme. New fiction books include several by favorite authors, including Janet Dailey, Fern Michaels, Debbie Macomber, Donna VanLiere and many others. We also have “The Christmas Cupcake Murder” by Joanne Fluke, featuring recipes. And in the area of recipes, we have “Christmas Baking” by Joyce & Laura Klynstra
and the ever popular newest “Christmas with Southern Living”, just to name a few. Would you like to create your own ugly Christmas sweater? Then check out “How to Make Your Own Ugly Christmas Sweater” by Nicolette Lafonseca. Or how about “The True Story of Santa Claus” by Janet Giovanelli? These are just a few of the many new holiday books we are adding to our shelves – be sure to stop by and check them out! We hope to see you soon at the Batesville Memorial Public Library!
