OA is welcoming three new faculty members this year.   David Jensen (far left) is OA's new math teacher.  He is teaching Algebra 1, Geometry and Calculus.  His wife's family is from the Batesville area and they are excited to move back home from Utah.  Jenny Schneider (far right) is teaching Chemistry and Physics classes. Jenny comes to OA with a chemical engineering background.  Ben Popson (not pictured) is the new Theology teacher.  He worked as a teaching assistant last year in New Albany.
We also have a new staff member:  Kathy Jones  (2nd from left).  Kathy is helping in both the Admissions and Guidance offices.  She has an extensive background in Catholic education, working for over 20 years in high schools in Cincinnati.
OA's new principal is Angela Parmer (2nd from the right).  After graduating from St. Joseph's College with a major in
math and minor in chemistry, she then spent the next 20 years teaching all different levels of math and science.  For the last 3 years she was an assistant principal at South Decatur Jr/Sr High School. She has a Masters in Curriculum and a Masters in School Administration. “I felt like this position was a perfect fit for me combining my Catholic faith with my passion for education.”
